I've been watching the cars and
I've figured out the pattern.

Every car that drives up the street
Needs a car to drive down the street.
It's a fair exchange.
•

Sometimes it happens at the same time
The cars trade brief glances and
Continue on their way.
•
But sometimes it takes a while.
Sometimes a car will drive up the street
With no sign of the other car.
•
But sure enough
If one has the patience to wait for it
That other car will come
Driving down the street.
