I really like the splitting in this poem, and the way that the spacing and repetition creates a sinister low-note, especially with the visual accompaniment. It feels existential -- or maybe just inane. Which perhaps sounds critically said, but I think that's a clever wedding -- because that's what haircuts are, yeah? It changes you, how people see you, it's on the cutting edge of metamorphosis -- and it's something you got to do to get your mom off your back. Good work (as always), D.
