nice peace! It feels very playful, reminds me of a child exploring life, oscillating between being shy and bashful and outgoing, poking things, causing things to implode or explode or bloom or tingle or fall apart in some forest of possibilities.

did you compose this in Italy?

Is this tititoccata?!?!

Thanks P.P.! I really like your interpretation of the piece. I composed this right before leaving for Italy.

Also -- haha no, it's not tititoccata. But you're right, the two pieces do have very similar characters. Maybe it's the childlike quality of both pieces.

I love this, Derick. It's my favorite piece since 'A Pop Song for October.' I've been listening to it at work, and it's giving me a very warm feeling, even though there's some anxiety in the piece.
