| "Harvest Moon." Sep. 30, 2012. |
harvest moon tonight:
under the quicksilver sky
steps on the sidewalk
an odd time gait.
a wayward wayfarer
in the lamppost evening
of orange sea fog
adrift and oarless.
the streetcars
sigh and sigh
and the crickets
asleep.
but onward: those cadential soles
to be heard perhaps
by a torpid ear
in the tired morning.

I think the dictionary definition of equinox sounds romantic. To bad its only twice a year. There is a sense of communion isn't there..? "when day and night are of equal length" hmm :: ))
the more I read this, the more I like it.
